Maintenance And Upkeep Of Plastic Crushers
1. The plastic crusher should be placed in a well-ventilated location to ensure proper heat dissipation from the motor and extend its lifespan.
2. The bearings should be lubricated regularly to ensure proper lubrication.
3. The blade screws should be checked regularly. After one hour of use, tighten the screws on both the moving and fixed blades to ensure a secure connection between the blades and the blade holder.
4. To ensure the sharpness of the blades, they should be checked frequently to prevent unnecessary damage to other components due to dull blades.
5. When replacing blades, the clearance between the moving and fixed blades should be: 0.8mm for crushers above 20HP, and 0.5mm for crushers below 20HP. The thinner the recycled material, the larger the clearance can be.
6. Before the second start-up, remove any remaining crushed material from the machine chamber to reduce starting resistance. The inertia cover and pulley cover should be opened regularly, and the ash outlet below the flange should be cleared to prevent powder from entering the shaft bearings.
7. The machine should be properly grounded. 8. Regularly check whether the belt of the plastic crusher is loose and tighten it in time.
