Working principle of plastic granulation equipment

Plastic granulation equipment typically consists of an extrusion system, a transmission system, a heating and cooling system, and a cutting system. During operation, the pre-treated plastic raw material enters the extruder barrel and moves forward under the rotation of the screw, while simultaneously being heated and melted by an external heater.

The molten plastic is extruded through a die of a specific shape, forming a continuous strip, which is then cooled and solidified. The cooled plastic strip is then cut into uniform granules by a cutter, completing the granulation process.
