Waste Plastic Pelletizer

We built this pelletizer because the money in plastic recycling is not in washing, and it is not in crushing. It is in turning washed, dried flake into pellets that another plant will actually buy for their own extruder. A lot of machines can wash and shred. Fewer can take inconsistent regrind - one load of PE bottle scrap, the next of LDPE film, the next a mixed bale of unknown color - and still push out a uniform cylinder that runs clean through a customer's line.

That is the job of this waste plastic pelletizer. It takes dry flake, melts it under controlled temperature, filters it through a screen changer, and cuts it into pellets that bag up clean. The machine comes in five sizes, from a small-unit that fits a workshop to a heavy unit for a dedicated recycling plant.

• A small workshop buys a bottle washing line and wants to pelletize the output on-site instead of selling flakes at a discount.
• A mid-size recycler moves up from selling washed flake to selling pellets, which carry a better price.
• A plant runs mixed bales through a primary wash and into pelletizing.

• Screen changer that saves your shift. When the pressure gauge climbs and the strands start coming out thin, you pull the slide, swap the screen, and the melt keeps flowing. You are not waiting for the machine to cool, not pulling the whole head apart. A dirty feed line without a working screen changer loses hours a week.
• Zoned temperature instead of one blanket heat. A customer running mixed film once turned the whole barrel up and burned the PE at the front end. With zoned control, the rear stays cool enough to melt cleanly, the front holds steady, and the pellets do not come out with burnt black specks.
• Screw flights hardfaced where the material actually wears. A shiny plain screw looks great on day one. After six months with abrasive regrind, you will know which builder spent the metal where it matters.
• Panel shows what the operator needs. Zone temperatures, motor current, screw speed. That is it. We do not pack it with touchscreens and alarms that nobody reads at 2 a.m.
