High Speed Friction Washer

For plastic recycling lines dealing with heavily soiled materials, Laizhou Yuening Machinery has developed the Type480 high speed friction washer.

It is built specifically to handle tough contamination on PET bottle flakes, rigid plastics, and other hard-to-clean scrap. Where standard washing equipment leaves behind ink, glue, and oil, this machine delivers a much deeper clean.

Powered by a 30 kW motor and running on common 380V industrial power, the Type480 operates at 1200 r/min to create strong friction between plastic pieces. This high-speed rubbing action breaks down and washes away contaminants efficiently in a single pass.

With a processing rate of 1000–2000 kg per hour, it works especially well in medium to large recycling systems that demand consistent output.
Measuring 1000×1000×3500 mm and weighing 1000 kg, this unit features a reinforced inner cylinder for stable long-hour running. Every part that touches material is built with wear resistance in mind, so the machine holds up well even under daily heavy use.

Running the Type480 is simple, and main parts are easy to reach for regular checks and cleaning. Because it cleans effectively the first time, recycling plants can use less water and spend less labor re-washing material.
